Anyone else choose a word for the year? I used to do this for years back in the day but really never thought much of it after choosing it so I stopped. I saw everyone choosing their words for 2022, as I have every year, but had no intention of choosing one for myself.

But the word decided to choose me.

I was riding up the chair lift going skiing on New Years Day debating on this one slope that I’ve been scared to try. I’m a super novice skier so anything slightly steep is intimidating. As I was trying to convince myself to do it I told myself ‘it’s a new year, just be brave and do it’. Something clicked…. just be ‘brave’.

Yes! Be brave. Be brave and attempt the slope. Go slow, take your time, but try it.
